Skin Brightening and Skin Lightening - Lab Updates and Latest Trends 2

Serum #1: Pixi’s General Skin Lightening

Container: 5ml~10ml tiny wide mouthed glass jars, lip balm pots, or Sephora sample containers are the easiest to mix stuff in, easy to store, convenient to travel with, dispensible, and perfect for frequent, fresh, easily customizable batches.

Apparatus and Equpiment: Bamboo toothpicks, bamboo chopsticks, lab spatulas, and ice cream spatulas.

Step 1) 1 small scoop, 1/2 pea-sized amount Skin Actives Whitening Cream, actives include white liquorice, glutathione, tetrahydrocurcuminoids, arbutin, melatonin, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, kojic acid dipalmitate, and superoxide dismutase.

Step 2) 2-3 droplets of Skin Actives Marine Nutrient Serum - sea kelp bioferment, sodium PCA, alpha bisabolol
(natural), coconut endosperm, natural active peptides, sodium hyaluronate, guaizulene. - anti-irritant and liquidizer to make things easy to mix

Step 3) 1 droplet of grapefruit seed extract (to keep active and freshness)

Step 4) 2-3ml eldelweiss extract OR eyeliss by Sederma of France - edelweiss extract protects against UV rays since skin becomes photosensitive with whitening ingredients. It’s an extremely potent antioxidant and antiaging agent to counteract irritation, skin-thinning, and oxidative stress, also acts as a GREAT liquidizer to make things easy to mix and dissolve.

Step 5) WHITENING ACTIVES GALORE: Add as much of the following goodies as will possibly dissolve into the above base:
a) ARBUTIN
b) WHITE LICORICE EXTRACT
c) KOJIC ACID DIPALMITATE
d) LEMON PEEL BIOFERMENTE

Step 6) OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS:
a) MAP aka magnesium ascorbyl phosphate (a stabilized form of whitening vitamin c that is very acidic, add at your own discretion please depending on skin sensitivity. More if your skin is tougher and less if your skin is sensitive, may cause burning. THIS INGREDIENT MAY STAIN CLOTHING AND SKIN INTO A WEIRD ORANGE BROWN COLOR, it’s not permanent on skin, you just have to exfoliate it off, HOWEVER, if it starts to stain into the brown color, it means that it’s already been oxidized and has lost its whitening properties! Also, it stains cloth and fabric and this stain is PERMANENT. Nothing gets this vitamin C staining off from clothing, sheets, and other stuff it touches. SO, that’s why MAP is optional, I usually leave it to the laboratories for this ingredient)
b) white mulberry extract (IF YOU CAN FIND IT, I haven’t been able to find it yet, if anyone knows where to get this in raw ingredient format please let me know!!)

Step 7: Add SEPIWHITE - an amino acid that is probably the most potent non-hydroquinonine whitener available. It comes in a really tough blocky chunky powder and needs to be melted at 85C/185F, you can use a bit of jojoba oil as the melting base. MIX THIS IN WELL with whatever you got from Step 1-6.

DONE! SOOOOO fun. Let me know if you want me to make this for you. I love making this!!

I have used skin actives before but my cremas were always very graing and i couldn’t quite get the quantities right. You can contact me at trulyblessed786@hotmail.com. Obviously I wouldn’t mind paying.
